Y&R Spoilers: Sharon And Chance’s Mutual Admiration Society Grows – Comeback Attack Thwarted

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) survived Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) comeback attack. She and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) rescued their daughter after she was kidnapped and the late Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) partner, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), saved everyone’s lives by disarming the explosive device.

Many retro elements were in play in this dramatic storyline that was action-adventure themed. Old-school fans appreciated seeing Sharon and Nick’s revived nemesis, Cameron, dealt with once and for all.

After the climax, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) was happy to go back to the Cottage with her parents. Chance commiserated with Sharon later.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Rosales And Nick Newman Temporarily Together Again

In the good old days, circa the mid-1990s through the mid-2000s, Nick defended Sharon. All who watched this soap during that era know that their marriage was not perfect and included moments of distress before Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) death eventually led to this couple’s permanent breakup.

It is hard to imagine that Case and Morrow’s characters have never remarried after divorcing more than 15 years ago in real-time. Various regimes have not seen fit to reunite their characters.

Fans were teased with two trips to the altar that did not result in completed ceremonies. So, the fiftieth-anniversary storyline that reunited Sharon and Nick so they could battle their one-time enemy, Cameron, was a nod to one of this soap opera’s all-time couples.

Y&R Spoilers – Cameron Kirsten’s Dim Plan

Cameron spent twenty years in jail. During all that time he claimed to have been thinking about Sharon, or so he told her.

After all that time and not being able to replace her with a woman who strongly resembled Sharon, Cameron went to Genoa City, Wisconsin, and put a plan in motion where he kidnapped Faith.

So, that was his whole plan? He wanted to lure Nick away from the Cottage, take Faith to the sewer, and then force Morrow’s character to choose whether she or Sharon would die.

Cameron’s plan was weak and included him foreseeing not being able to escape capture or death himself. Clearly, Cameron was not the most inspired daytime bulb.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Has Potential

Rey’s sad demise created the potential for Sharon and Chance to couple. Viewers knew when Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway) dropped Chance, the momentum for him to explore romance with Sharon increased exponentially.

Floyd’s character will rehash what happened with Sharon. Hopefully, that leads to TPTB giving this couple a chance at eventual love on Y&R.
