Y&R Spoilers: Sharon And Chance Make Sense

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has been alone for a while. In both soap- and real-time, it has been a long since Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death. That makes increasing scenes between Sharon and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) intriguing.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) noticed the potential for chemistry between Sharon and Chance. Adam’s single status generally would put him in a position to try and reconcile with Sharon. But his unrequited love is with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), and the coming arrival of their child this summer sidelines Grossman’s character.

Sharon lost her husband. Chance lost his police partner, with the difference in scope being massive.  The recast character Floyd played was not on the show for long before TPTB wrote Vilasuso out of the show.

However, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) was rarely spoken of when Chance became a Genoa City, Wisconsin, police officer. Chance and Rey became close rather quickly because they, along with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), were the faces of the Genoa City, Wisconsin Police Department.

Naturally, Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) supposed death would create another bonding opportunity for Chance and Sharon. Their discussion about connected feelings was natural.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman’s Focus Remains Elsewhere

Adam convinced himself that Sally was the next great love of his life. As is his pattern, Adam went bananas after doing so.

Sally eventually tired of Adam’s insecure mind games and attempted to cut him off. But she made what proved to be a fateful decision when allowing herself to be with Adam one last time during a period when she was not fully committed to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

The expected child Sally and Adam will have this summer means that he is not currently revisiting the past but looking toward an uncertain future. Sally’s bond with Nick is legitimate and does not include Adam at this point in the storyline. That means a Sharon-Adam comeback is unlikely.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Rosales And Chance Chancellor Are Friends

For the moment, Sharon and Chance are friends. Chance continues to deal with the sudden end of his marriage to Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway), who officially reduced her moniker when she and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) realized their son represents more than a genetic link.

Viewers would likely accept Sharon and Chance exploring romance. Their more recent shared histories created a friendship that can lend itself to more on Y&R.
