Y&R Spoilers: Sally’s Haunted Past – Baby In Danger

The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) haunted by her past. She and her sister Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck) were raised by carnival performers until their grandmother Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) took them in-Sally has doubts she can be a good mother.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Doubts Herself Even Though She’s Good With Kids

Sally has a case of the maternity jitters, and doubts herself even though she’s really good with kids. She thinks of the time she spotted Adam Newman’s kid, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) in a park by himself and her natural instinct was to sit with him and call Adam.

Part of her wonders if her child will be like Connor, since he’ll be his brother or sister-when she and Coco were younger, Sally mothered Coco.

She’s insecure because she’s been more of a friend than a parent to children and wonders if she needs to take a different path. She can’t find fault with how grandma Shirley raised her and Coco though, maybe she should emulate her.

Y & R Spoilers – Insecurities Abound

Insecurities abound in Sally about what kind of mother she will be, even though her grandma was the best of examples. She worries about if she’ll be compared to Adam or Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) mothers, although she wonders if Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was all that great of a mom.

She feels lucky to have been befriended by Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) who already has been a great deal of help and support, and knows she can always go to her. Chloe seems to be a great example to follow; she’s got two little ones and was raised by a single mom who did okay with her.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Worried Over Nothing-Chloe Mitchell Calms Her Fears

Chloe is very reassuring to Sally about her insecurities of whether she’ll be a good enough mother-she tells her if she wouldn’t be, she wouldn’t be worried about it.

In fact, many children raised in bad homes make the best parents when they grow up, determined not to raise their own children the way that they were raised. She also tells Sally to tune out all the bad vibes of the rest of the Newmans, all that should matter is what she thinks and what Nick thinks.

Y&R spoilers show Sally feels a lot better after talking her fears out and more empowered to make decisions and make plans. It’s going to be a few months before her baby is born, and worry doesn’t help either one of them.
