Y&R Spoilers: Sally Shocked When Victor Gives Her A Job Offer, Will She Bite?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be shocked when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) offers her a job. The question is, considering how he treated her before, will she bite?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Unexpected Meeting

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally come downstairs from her suite at the Genoa City Athletic Club and unexpectedly run into Victor in the dining room.

He invites them to sit with him at his table, and with Sally just having returned from out of town, she just wants to be with Nick. Nick tells her they don’t have to do anything she doesn’t want to do, but she’s curious as to why Victor wants to talk to her so they sit with him.

Victor immediately offers condolences on the loss of her baby and it means a lot, considering the last time he told her he’d keep the baby if she would leave town! That didn’t go down well and he backtracks on that and claims it was only a test-Nick is skeptical, but his sympathy does seem sincere.

Y & R Spoilers: Nick Newman Remains Skeptical

Sally does love Nick and cares about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor assures her she passed “his test” with flying colors-Nick’s seen his dad play every trick in the book. Sally thinks that Victor changed his mind about her and backed down after her miscarriage, which was so devastating to both her and Adam.

Nick is still skeptical but Sally would like to think that Victor has recognized her talent and capabilities in business, and then Victor surprises her.

He offers her a big job opportunity with Newman’s new design division and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is included too; there’s no exclusivity clause in their contract with Chancellor-Winters. But – he does want them to sign an exclusivity contract with him, which she wasn’t expecting.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sally Spectra And Victor Newman Have Something In Common

Sally and Victor do have something in common, and that is that they are both very career-driven and he seems to trust that she knows what she’s doing.

But when he tells her that their offices will be in the Newman Tower, she’s not so sure she should take the bait, knowing that means Victor will be monitoring. This may just be a vantage point to hover and interfere and take away the independence which she craves and she may not be able to live with that.

Being supervised is one thing, being controlled is quite another and Sally will be controlled by no one but Sally! She will consider Victor’s offer, and of course she’ll need to talk about it with Chloe as well before giving him an answer.
