Y&R Spoilers: Rey Rosales Returns To Save Sharon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and news reveal that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) is in grave danger, and Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) won’t stop until she’s in a body bag. Now would be the perfect time for Jordi Vilasuso to bring back Rey Rosales to save the day.  Will the former Genoa City cop come back to help his ex-wife in her time of need?

Vilasuso debuted on The Young and the Restless in 2018, when the Rosales Family was stirring up drama in Genoa City. After his family all left the canvas, Rey Rosales remained in Genoa City as a police officer and fell in love with Sharon Newman.

Sure, Rey Rosales technically died in a car accident. But, the soap opera never held a funeral for him and his mother had him buried in his hometown of Miami.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers  – How Did Rey Rosales Die On the Young And The Restless?

The car accident that was supposed to have taken Rey Rosales life also involved Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). There was a lot of mystery surrounding the accident, and later it was revealed that the Rey was actually dead before he crashed from a heart attack.

With no funeral, no body now, and a mysterious cause of death, it’s not insane to think that Jordi Vilasuso’s character could still be alive.

If Rey Rosales is alive and he hears that Cameron Kirsten is on the loose, he can use his old police contacts to get the scoop on Sharon’s stalker and realize she is in trouble.

The Young and the Restless spoilers also tease that Cameron will frame Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and land him behind bars.  Once Rey hears that Nick isn’t there to watch over Sharon, he may decide that protecting his former love Sharon is worth blowing his cover.

Why would Rey Rosales fake his death to begin with? Considering his police background, there’s actually a very logical explanation the writers could provide to bring the character back.

Who is to say he didn’t fake his death so that he could go undercover on a case? Or he may have been in danger because of one of his cases and had to disappear for a while.
