Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Tries To Make Amends With Daniel, Will He Turn Her In?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) tries to make amends with her son, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). But will Daniel turn her into the police, thinking it will be better for her legally, or try to convince her to turn herself in?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Didn’t Trust Him

Phyllis had told her daughter, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) not to tell her brother when she first revealed herself as alive.

Phyllis didn’t trust Daniel not to keep her secret, therefore keeping her safe from arrest for her self-defense killing of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). But Summer couldn’t keep such a devastating secret to herself, and ultimately, she had to tell someone, so she told Daniel, swearing him to secrecy.

Phyllis wasn’t wild about it when she found out, by that time, evidence having been found of her survival. Daniel did protect his sister, though, claiming he’d gotten the call from their mother.

However, Daniel is Phyllis’ son and she does want to make amends-she never intended all this to go as far as it did. She’d fallen for the words of a man who said everything she wanted to hear, helped frame the rival she’d hated for years for her death, and he turned on her.

The turning point for Phyllis had come when she snuck into her own funeral in disguise and saw the devastation of her children. She wanted to back out of the scheme but Stark told her it was too late, and when she threatened him he came at her with scissors and she fought back.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Phyllis is truly sorry for everything but now doesn’t know how to get out of the mess-she begs Daniel for forgiveness.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Only Way Out Is To Turn Herself In

Daniel maintains that his mother’s only way out of this is to turn herself in, even though he knows there’s no proof of any struggle in the hotel room. She had no defensive wounds that would prove her story, and he was a floater-the autopsy didn’t confirm Phyllis’ story.

Perhaps she knows some details about what happened to the paramedic and the driver, who Stark paid off to fake the wreck.

The paramedic was paid off by Stark as was the driver, the key seems to be that paramedic. He needs to be found and forced to tell the truth, if Daniel has to find him himself-but in the meantime, if Phyllis doesn’t turn herself in, he will!
