Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest the little town of Genoa City will reel over the news of Phyllis Summer’s (Michelle Stafford) passing in the days and weeks to come. Now, fans know all too well that Red is likely alive and well; her “death” being a part of a larger plot to nail Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

With that said, Diane has been able to weasel her way out of any retribution in the past, despite links to both Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) during her time away from Genoa City. What will Phyllis do to ensure that she finally brings Diane down?

Y&R spoilers tease plenty of twists and turns in this storyline, so viewers need to gear up and expect the unexpected. Audiences saw Jeremy and Phyllis talk about a larger-than-life plan that would get Diane back for all the terrible things she’s done.

While it’s natural to assume that they are planning to frame Jenkins for Phyllis’s “murder”, is it as simple as that? Or will they bring a supernatural element into all this?

In the weeks ahead, Phyllis will likely lay low, biding her time for the perfect opportunity to have Diane alone, and then spring something over-the-top.

One thing Diane has going for her is unwavering love from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). He completely has fallen for her and will stop at nothing to protect Jenkins. Even if Jeremy and Red try to frame Jenkins, Jack’s got enough money and power to stop Diane from going to prison.

So, if Phyllis and Jeremy concocted a plan where the “ghost” of Phyllis haunts Diane, would she spill everything? It would start off with Jenkins seeing Red, here and there, and eventually, snowball into Ms. Summers paying Jenkins a visit.

Phyllis and Stark could either videotape a confession by Diane, or possibly create a scenario where Jack, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), and others overhear Jenkins’s confessional rant. If Diane admits to trying to fool Jack into falling in love with her and using Kyle in the process, her days in the Abbott mansion would be numbered.
