Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Summers Turns Her Situation Around With More Lies

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers state that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will kill Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in an act of self-defense. She’s been on the fence about returning to the land of the living, and now that Stark is out of the way, she can do just that.

However, what will her next steps be? Can she turn this around, so she bears no implications around “faking” her death, while also still sending Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to prison?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Turns Up In Genoa City, Alive & Well With A Crafty Story

Y&R spoilers hint there’s a good chance that Phyllis will return to town “alive and well” very soon. Now that Jeremy is no longer an issue, she can go back to Genoa City and state that Stark kidnapped her and kept her hostage this entire time.

In fact, she can go one step further and claim that while she was in his clutches, she overheard him, and Jenkins co-conspired about the entire thing.

This would be a win-win situation for Phyllis. She’d be back in the land of the living, with her kids (who are now more than willing to brush aside any differences they had), and Diane could still rot in prison. But has Phyllis covered all of her bases?

Y&R Spoilers – That Pesky EMT Could Be A Thorn In Phyllis Summers’s Side

There’s enough evidence at this point that Diane could still face prison time. After all, everyone saw Phyllis act weird during her meltdown at the bicentennial gala, and there was “proof” of poison in her bloodstream.

Red could claim she was out for a long time, only to “come to” days ago. At that point in time, she could either tell the police that she heard Jeremy and Diane on the phone or that Stark himself told her about the plan he had with Jenkins. Everyone would believe Red, and she’d be in the clear.

However, one can’t forget Carson the EMT that Jeremy paid off. He’s apparently long gone but he’s the only one at this point that could tie her to this scheme. He’ll likely come out of the shadows at some point, but will it be sooner rather than later?
