Y&R spoilers reveal that Daniel unexpectedly returned to Genoa City. However, Daniel wasn’t with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant). Daniel returned alone but hasn’t totally opened up about why. All that fans really know is that Daniel’s career stalled and he is currently estranged from Heather.

Since Daniel’s return, he has been throwing himself into the OmegaSphere project. That means working with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Chancellor-Winters. Daniel also agreed to partner up with his mother, Phyllis. As fans know, Phyllis loves video games, so it seemed like a good match.

Fans watched as Daniel told Phyllis that she was obsessed with getting revenge on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). As everyone else has told Phyllis, Daniel suggested that his mother give up getting revenge. That’s what this job was supposed to do… give Phyllis something productive and healthy to become fixated on.

Now Phyllis is making pitches to companies without Daniel’s approval. Plus, Phyllis has taken it upon herself to go to Portugal to reunite Daniel with Heather.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that the whole reason why Daniel is so passionate about OmegaSphere is because of Heather and Lucy. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Graziadei explained,

“He’s been pursuing this whole OmegaSphere vision in hopes it will rekindle what they had and bring Heather and Lucy back into his life. He had a timetable in his mind of how he wanted things to go, so when everything’s been rushed and forced and pushed by Phyllis, it defeats the whole purpose. He’s never been this mad at his mom and he makes a shocking decision.”

Y&R Spoilers – Project Scrapped?

Could Daniel’s shocking decision be that Phyllis has ruined everything? Could Daniel decide to scrap the OmegaSphere project because of Phyllis’ actions? The fact that things are not going smoothly at Chancellor-Winters could just complicate Daniel’s mega-gaming platform as well. So, we will have to see what Daniel’s shocking decision is after Phyllis defends going to Portugal.
