The Young And The Restless Spoilers  – Phyllis Summers’ Regret

Y&R spoilers reveal that Phyllis agreed to work with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) on a plan to take down Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for good. The plan was for Phyllis to instigate a fight with Diane. Once Diane took the bait and was “caught” strangling Phyllis, the next phase went into action. Phyllis ended up collapsing after venting publicly, then the paramedics were supposed to take her to the hospital.

While the collapse and ambulance crash was staged, the truth hasn’t come out yet. However, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is suspicious. In the meantime, Diane is facing life in prison if she is convicted of murdering Phyllis.

During a recent episode, Phyllis and Jeremy got into a bloody altercation. It was mentioned that Phyllis had only been dead for a few days. So, clearly, time moves a lot slower in Genoa City than it does in real life. Phyllis wanted to abort the mission and stop her children from suffering. That is when the situation spiraled out of control.

Right now, the only people on Diane’s side are Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). There is also Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), who always sat on the fence regarding Diane.

At some point, the truth will come out about Jeremy’s revenge scheme. Phyllis will also have to explain what happened to Jeremy’s body as well as frame Diane for murder.

So, now Summer wants to earn redemption and save the ones she loves from Phyllis’ “killer.” However, when Phyllis comes back from the dead and admits the truth, Summer and Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) might not be so forgiving.

As Summer and Kyle work through this frame job gone wrong, Diane could step in. Even though Summer never trusted Diane, it was because of what Phyllis had told her.
