Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Puts Summer In Impossible Position

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could not live with herself. She had to see Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) and tell her the truth.

Summer was overjoyed to see her mother was alive. But as Phyllis anticipated, Summer was shocked by what Stafford’s character revealed.

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was innocent, Summer realized. Phyllis sported a flummoxed reaction shot, keeping to her belief that Diane remains guilty of all things.

Some clarification was offered about the death robe Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) was wrapped in following Phyllis’ self-defense killing of him. She was pushed into the bathroom when he attempted to silence her in what he termed a victimless crime.

According to Y&R spoilers, Phyllis used scissors to end Jeremy. She cleaned up the mess in the bathroom and used the available shower curtain to neatly bind his body.

Phyllis was last seen dragging her human package out of the motel room Jeremy used as a stashing area for her during the point in their get-Diane plan when they were still partners.

It would seem unlikely that she can prove that was a self-defense act. So, part of her restoration plan will likely involve disconnecting her involvement with that incident.

Y&R Spoilers – Time Is Of The Essence

Jeremy was found by a fisherman outside of the Genoa City, Wisconsin, limits, as Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) learned and passed along to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who relayed that information to Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Summer’s tell to Phyllis, about Jeremy being dead, was important. Phyllis did not anticipate that information being public knowledge yet. So, the timeline for whatever she wants to do next was shortened.

Phyllis says she wants to leave GC and never return. But why would time be needed to do that?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Deserves Freedom

Phyllis will not like it. But she may be forced to realize that Jeremy was an enemy to Diane first.

As she told Summer, Jeremy manipulated Phyllis into doing his bidding. Her lack of foresight and consumption with Diane’s downfall led to crimes being committed.

While defending herself against Jeremy was not illegal, faking her death to frame Diane is prosecutable. So, Phyllis has a high mountain to climb. Summer seems certain to help her mother in this effort as this compelling storyline unfolds on Y&R.
