Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Not Thinking Straight – Hopeless Alliance With Jeremy

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) responded to her son-in-law’s optimism. Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) belief that his mother-in-law and wife would resolve their differences was blunted when Phyllis texted Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) information about the Abbott cabin.

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is often running away. She did so most recently at Christmas. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) used the Abbott cabin as a getaway option to prevent her from leaving for unknown whereabouts.

Jeremy remains Diane’s problem. She made the right choice when reporting him to the authorities for money laundering. But the hair-brained scheme she and Jack cooked up to frame Jeremy for grand larceny puts them in his crosshairs.

Jeremy has been stalking Diane since arriving in Genoa City, Wisconsin. He has been hounding Phyllis as well.

Phyllis previously provided Jeremy with Diane’s location information. She did that not knowing how dangerous Diane’s former assumed romantic attachment was.

While Jeremy was repeatedly rejected, he continued to push Phyllis to work with him. He believes she is the ideal business partner who can help him to bring Diane down once and for all.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Goes Down Instead?

Jack stopped Diane from traveling to Chicago, Illinois, where she would have stolen Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) pricey necklace. Bergman’s character, who is fully committed to being with Diane for the rest of his life, played the thief.

The evidence was planted in Jeremy’s suite at the Grand Phoenix Hotel. The authorities in Chicago were alerted and contacted Chief of Police Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). He assigned his lead detective, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), to pick up Jeremy, who realized Jack and Diane set up Jeremy and were using him to facilitate their defense measure.

It feels like Jack is most likely to fall, considering how closely he is tied to Diane and how desperate he is to defend her.

Why should Phyllis restrain herself at this point in the plot? All she did to warn everyone about Diane’s destructive pattern did not prevent doom from happening.

Phyllis has lost the most. Jack despises her. Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) fired Phyllis at Marchetti Home and feels she betrayed family trust. Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) followed his sister’s lead, fired her from his emerging company, and cut Phyllis off.

So, Jeremy is where he thought he was from the beginning. Hyde’s character appears to be Phyllis’ best chance to strike back on Y&R.
