Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has managed to alienate both of her adult children with her busybody meddling ways. She ticked off Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) by flying off to Brazil to have a talk with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) about reuniting with Daniel, but her obsession with bringing down Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is what made Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier) not want to deal with her anymore.

Sure, Summer has now had it with Diane, as well, but that doesn’t mean her mother is out of the doghouse. However, Phyllis sure wants to be on her daughter’s good side so she makes a desperate plea to Summer, begging her to out the bad feelings behind them and make amends. Will Summer be able to find it in her heart to forgive her mother?
