Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis’ Arrest – Time To Face Justice

The Young And The Restless: Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has been on the lamb for a long time. Her faked murder hoax was totally exposed but no arrest was possible.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) had a perfect opportunity to end Phyllis’ run. But he deferred to his wife’s best interests and allowed his errant mother-in-law to escape justice.

The audience likely wants this storyline to wrap short. But the outcome needs to be believable which might be a hard sell.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Was Provocative

Make no mistake, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is not responsible for Phyllis anonymously contacting Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). Red ensured that Jeremy could locate Diane, which led to mayhem.

But Diane provoked Phyllis since her revealed murder hoax was self-revealed in Los Angeles, California. Walters’ character saw Phyllis as unworthy of Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) admiration and successfully changed his opinion of her.

That provocation set Phyllis on a revenge path that continues today.

Y&R Spoilers – Evidence Against Phyllis Summers Is Plentiful

Y&R spoilers show Phyllis conspired with Jeremy to fake her death and pin what appeared to be a crime against her son-in-law’s mother, Diane. That led to Diane being imprisoned on a murder charge.

Jeremy is now dead. He died because he attempted to kill Phyllis after she wanted to end their arrangement and return alive to GC.

Phyllis’ self-defense killing of Jeremy was not witnessed by anyone, including the audience. So, the plan is to have the emergency medical technician Jeremy paid as part of the hoax to become a fake witness.

That risky plan is Phyllis’ only current hope of being cleared.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Closes Other Case

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was present when Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) was killed by Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). That was a self-defense act with multiple witnesses present.

However, Phyllis’ incident with Jeremy was totally different. Even if a paid witness can provide cover for that incident, she will still need to explain the murder hoax and being on the run these past months.

Now that Cameron is dead, Chance is free to focus on the Phyllis matter. He is aware that the young and connected in GC pervert law enforcement. So, Chance will be especially leery of an EMT’s reappearance and story that conveniently covers Phyllis’ attempt to escape justice on Y&R.
