The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is working multiple angles to try and avoid being imprisoned. The multiple charges she is facing are tied to the obsession she developed with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) and now, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) were retained to handle the legal angles. But Phyllis also agreed, without having a choice, to do Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) bidding.

Yet, Phyllis does not like being under Tucker’s thumb and relays that to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in hopes of garnering his support. That connects to the job Adam offers her at Adustus.

In the recent past, Phyllis was the Phoenix that rose again in Genoa City, Wisconsin. She returned to town intent on restoring her reputation and made that happen in short order.

The Grand Phoenix Hotel section of Phyllis’ backstory was pulled when TPTB wrote Stafford’s character in a different and debatable direction.

Fans are right to ask if, when compared, Phyllis was involved in more engaging storylines when she headed the GP or during this period where she willfully threw away all that was earned simply to go after Diane.

The result of doing so meant Phyllis sold her hotel to Chancellor-Winters and realized a good profit. So, why is she claiming money problems now?

Y&R Spoilers – Daniel Romalotti And Summer Newman Abbott Wrecked

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) felt sorry for his mother after Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) felt she had to fire her at Jabot. Lanier’s character and the increasingly arrogant Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) were routinely talking down to their parents, with the attempt to normalize the children ruling their parents being an endorsement of dysfunction.

Phyllis was supposed to be Daniel’s lead tech hire at Omegasphere. But that arrangement was short-lived, with Daniel firing her.

Stafford’s character was correct when saying her children abandoned her, which led to the Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) alliance. Phyllis’ life was endangered, and she landed in a horrible spot where all choices feel, in some ways, derivative.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tucker McCall Has Current Leverage

Tucker holds heavy power over Phyllis as long as Carson’s (no last name known for the Emergency Medical Technician played by Walter Belenky) fake testimony is needed. That is where Adam comes into play.

Grossman’s character practices creative morality with the best of them in GC. So, if anyone can neutralize Tucker, Adam is the man to do it.

Phyllis appears to be in the ashes part of the Phoenix cycle. Her fans likely feel she will soon rise again on Y&R.
