Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may receive some backlash from Genoa City residents when the truth is revealed about her “death”.

She partnered up with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) to bring Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) down, but many will feel as if she went too far in her act of revenge; especially, her kids Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei). However, someone who may welcome Red back with open arms is Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Y&R spoilers indicate that Nick will say something beautiful about Phyllis during her “memorial” service this week. Nick’s been shattered about his ex-wife’s passing but has put on a “brave face” for his daughter Summer.
When Phyllis returns, because fans know that at some point she will, Ms. Summers will likely have many people in Genoa City upset with her. Her kids, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), as well as others, will shun Red for a long while. One person who will be mad at first, but get over it, is Nick.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Will Feel As If He & Phyllis Summers Deserve (Yet) Another Chance

Let’s face it: Nick can’t hold a grudge even if he wanted to. His “thing” is running back to exes to give them another chance. After all, how many times has he reconciled with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Clair Egan), and Red herself? The weeks ahead might be difficult and reflective for Nick. As it’s clear that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are navigating toward each other, Nick may start to realize how much he truly misses Phyllis; how much he wishes he could get one more chance with her.

When news breaks that Ms. Summers’s is alive, she may have no one in town to turn to, and while Nick will give her the third degree at first, he’ll also give her a supportive shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to her vent. It won’t be long before these two will be back into their old romantic patterns.
