Y&R Spoilers: Nina Webster Judges Summer Newman Based On Her Mother’s Sins

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint a familiar face is set to make a massive return. News broke recently that Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will visit the land of Genoa City very soon, and while she’ll likely catch up with old friends Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), she’ll make it a priority to spend time with her son Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and her grandson Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).

Will she also carve out some time to warn Chance about his new “friend” Summer Newman (Allison Lanier)?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers  – Nina Webster Will Be Happy Chance Chancellor Has Moved On

Y&R spoilers don’t provide that much insight on how long Nina will be in GC. Last time around, she blasted Chance’s ex, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) over breaking her son’s heart, so Nina will likely be quite interested in how her son has moved on in the months since she’s been away.

The good news is that he’s in a nice romance with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), and the two seem happy. Still, his friendship (and chemistry) with Summer is undeniable.

Nina may see sparks between the two and worry. Chance is in a good place with Sharon, and she won’t want anything – or anyone – to come between that.

Y&R Spoilers – Nina Reeves Doesn’t Have The Best History With Red

As Christine’s BFF, Nina doesn’t think highly of Summer’s mom, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She saw firsthand the destruction caused by Red and will worry about Chance’s relationship with Sharon.

After all, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to Summer and Phyllis; the two are a lot alike. With that being said, Summer has calmed down her scheming ways significantly and was never anywhere near as bad as her mom was.

Nina doesn’t know that, in fact, she doesn’t really know Summer at all. She may purely judge the young woman solely based on her mother’s sins and warn Chance to stay away.
