Y&R Spoilers: Nikki Newman NOT Claire’s Real Target

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans knew when Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) arrived in Genoa City she was trouble.

But, for some reason Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) fell for her faux charm, hook, line, and sinker.

According to Y&R spoilers for the CBS soap, there’s a big twist coming in the Claire storyline. Next week’s promo shows Claire attacking Nikki from behind, and stabbing her in the neck with a syringe.

There’s no reason to think Nikki Newman is being killed off, but she’s definitely in some sort of hostage situation.

Since the clip of Claire attacking Nikki Newman was released, The Young and the Restless fans have been racking their brains trying to figure out who has beef with Nikki and sent Claire Grace after her. But, Y&R spoilers hint a twist is coming.

Y&R Spoilers – The Kidnapping Is Nothing to Do With Nikki Newman

What if Nikki’s kidnapping has nothing to do with Nikki? It looks like “Aunt Jordan” instructed Claire to snatch her, but why? It seems way too personal to be a simple ransom kidnapping. Whoever sent Claire Grace to Genoa City wanted Nikki because she means something to someone.

More than likely Nikki’s attacker is someone who is after her husband Victor Newman, and is planning to use her as leverage over The Moustache.

If the writers are bringing up names this week from the late 1980’s on the CBS soap, it’s really anyone’s guess who is declaring war on Victor Newman by taking Nikki hostage. He has made more enemies than most fans can remember in the past three decades.

There’s also the possibility that it’s not an enemy of Victor, but an enemy of Nikki’s sister Casey Reed. It seems strange that the writers would bring up Casey at this time for no reason other than a cute little reunion. The character more than likely is related to Claire’s motive too.
