Y&R Spoilers: Nick’s Insecurities Get The Best Of Him, Shocking Proposal To Sally

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest some major plot twists in the land of Genoa City. The news is finally out, and the world knows that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is pregnant. More importantly, the paternity test is in and has confirmed that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the father.

This complicates things as Sally is currently dating his brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Nick is a confident man who rarely gets insecure. However, his brother has a way of needling him, and considering the current circumstances he’s in, could Nick do something drastic?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman’s Current Insecurity Stems From The Past

Y&R spoilers hint that Nick will make a promise to Sally, very soon. Could this be in the form of a wedding proposal? Seems a little out there, but fans can tell Nick is suffering from a little jealousy. He and Sally desperately wanted her baby to be his baby, and finding out Adam is the daddy has been a major blow. Plus, Adam recently interrupting the couple while they were in bed clearly ruffled Nick’s feathers; especially when Sally left him in the room to chat with her baby daddy. Many fans also did not miss the look of dismay when Nick saw the co-parents sharing a laugh together in the hotel lobby.

Of course, Nick’s confidence is a bit low. After all, if history dictates itself, there’s a good chance that Sally could go running back to Adam. When Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) returned to GC in 2019, Nick welcomed her back with open arms. While the two dabbled in a romantic reunion, it wasn’t long before Lawson went back to the “other” Newman brother. Not to mention the countless times Sharon fluffed off Nick for Adam. He’s probably worried because there is a cause for concern. Especially with a baby in the mix and the fact that Sally and Adam do share some chemistry.

Nick could propose to Sally. He may want to ensure she knows that he’s committed to her 100%, despite knowing the baby isn’t his. He’s also quite smitten with the redhead, and maybe he does see a future with her. However, if Newman proposes anytime soon, he may throw Sally off. Sure, she adores him, but suggesting they get married might be too much too soon. Would she say yes, or would she say no?
