Y&R Spoilers: Nick Learns Sally Spectra Is Pregnant

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is still getting used to the idea that she is pregnant and does not want anyone but Chloe Mitchell Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to know yet so when Chloe brings her medicine for her morning sickness and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) spots the medicine, he is quite curious.

“Sally has been kind of in denial that she’s pregnant, but dealing with nausea has made it very real,” Courtney Hope said in the January 23, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “So, it’s hard to gather herself and be ready to meet with Jill.”

It seems with all the mess that is going on with Chancellor-Winters that Sally wants to meet with them and firm up a deal for her new interior design business with Chloe and Chloe doesn’t want anything getting in the way of that — including Sally’s nausea.

Then, Nick appears in her hotel room and sees she is a complete hot mess and wonders what the heck is going on.

“Sally tells Nick that she’s still having the same tummy issues, which she claims is most likely from stress and too much coffee and junk food,” Hope told Digest. “But the way he looks at her, she can tell he’s not buying it.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Nick asks Chloe to leave because he needs to talk with Sally. After Chloe departs, Nick asks her point blank if she is pregnant and she has to answer him with the truth. Nick had already suspected this when she had refused a drink the night before and now he has to face the fact that he may or may not be a father again.

“Sally is tired of dodging questions and making up phony excuses,” Hope said. “So, she admits to Nick that she’s pregnant. Now, the ball is in his court.”

What will Nick do? He knows that Sally slept with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) recently so he is not the guaranteed dad, but will he step up for her anyway although they are not technically supposed to be in love? Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to find out.
