The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might flout Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) demands and propose to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). If Sally does indeed decide to go through with the pregnancy, Nick would want to do right by her and the baby no matter what his controlling father thinks.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Who’s The Daddy-Won’t Matter
Nick already knows that Sally slept with Adam one last time and Adam knows it was a means of closure on their past relationship. Adam knows his loss of Sally was no one’s fault but his, and he went about protecting her job, which no longer exists anyway the totally wrong way. Sally had even figured out what he was doing and confronted him about it, and he still kept lying and making himself as abhorrent to her as possible.
Adam did this for Sally’s good, but she’s a grown woman and didn’t need that, it felt more like control. As for who the daddy of the baby is, it won’t matter to Nick because he’s already raising one of Adam’s anyway-Christian Newman (Alex Wilson).
Y & R Spoilers – Victor Newman Hates Sally Spectra
Victor hates Sally so much he had his private investigators compile a dossier on her showing what a “criminal” she was in Los Angeles. He pointed this out to both Adam and Nick and would not have such a person possibly marrying into his family.
This was a vast overreach on his part and he is totally underestimating Sally- both sons knew all this, didn’t care, and Sally could easily sue Victor for invasion of privacy. Sally is much more secure than she was when she first came to Genoa City, and no longer dependent on a man to love her like she was in Los Angeles. As for Sally’s “crimes” they weren’t even as bad as things Victor himself did in the past-if Sally really wanted to get ugly she could compile her own dossier on him!
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Made Plain His Thoughts
Nick made plain his thoughts and more or less, so did Adam-the dossier didn’t surprise Adam, and grossly offended Nick. Both brothers made sure in no uncertain terms that Victor will NOT run their lives and make their decisions for them, especially not in their personal lives. Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) tiring her father’s obsessive need to control their lives as well.
Sally can’t just keep her pregnancy hidden, and probably wouldn’t take a trip out of town until the baby’s born like Dina Abbott (Marla Adams) did so many years ago. And when Nick finds out, as he must, he’ll step up to give that baby a father married to his or her mother and a stable home-and Sally should say yes.
