Y&R Spoilers: Nick Follows Victor’s Wishes – Adam Reconsiders Decision

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are teased to reach an accord. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) ordered Nick to work with Adam to turn McCall Unlimited around in preparation for it becoming a Newman Enterprises division.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) does not care if Adam reverses his walk-out decision. She told Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that McCall Unlimited will be part of the portfolio, as she thought it would be, with Adam either not involved or subservient to her.

Adam has a stubborn personality. He is like his oldest sister, whether or not she agrees with that comparison. They are like their father, as Victor recognizes.

However, Adam and Victoria are not living financially carefree lives because of what they have done for Victor. Instead, the founder and still-head of Newman Enterprises skillfully built a worldwide conglomerate after leaving Chancellor Industries, where Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) hired him decades ago.

Victor’s authority is not something Adam and Victoria have respected, and the Moustache is putting a stop to it.

Under normal circumstances, Nick would either have not responded to his father’s emergency text or would have walked out of the living room at the Ranch before Adam. However, two recent events influenced Nick’s perspective.

Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) was kidnapped by Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby). He strapped explosives to her body and intended to either kill her or Sharon. But Nick was never forced to make that impossible choice because Sharon used the knife that he gave her to end Cameron’s life.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was expecting a baby later this year. But she and Adam will not be welcoming their daughter, Ava Hope, because of the miscarriage. That was Nick’s second emotional blow in recent weeks, and Victor appreciates his son’s emotional pain.

Adam appeared to believe his father would not stop him if he kept pushing ahead. Victoria has been operating similarly as Victor’s chosen Chief Executive Officer at the family business.

Grossman’s character thought he and Victor had a deal. But Braeden’s character told his son all agreements are off, and he will not be allowed to run McCall Unlimited as he pleases.

Victor is not going to allow Adam to target Newman Enterprises. Viewers are bracing to see if Nick’s prediction comes true, and Adam responds vengefully even if they work together at Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) former company on Y&R.
