Y&R Spoilers: Nick And Sally’s Shock, DNA Results In – Adam The Daddy?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) might be shocked when they see the DNA results. Even though they knew there was a possibility that her baby might be Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) to actually have it staring them in the face will be difficult to process.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Are The Odds?

The shock, obviously, would come in when they consider what the odds would be that the baby would be Adam’s when Sally slept with him once and Nick numerous times. They have to wonder if Adam has super sperm or something, with Nick already raising one of his boys – Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). His mother, Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan) had been married to Nick at one time too, but had been involved with Adam when she conceived Christian.

Nick and Sally have to wonder if there could have been some mistake, but since Nick was the only one who was tested, process of elimination makes the father Adam. Sally hasn’t been with anyone else during the time that the baby was conceived, only Nick and Adam.

Y & R Spoilers – Adam Newman Has To Know

The last thing that Nick and Sally want is to have to tell Adam, but they both know that he has to know. For one thing, the baby could inherit his retinitis pigmentosa gene that came down from his mother Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman).

That is what made Hope blind, and although Christian didn’t inherit it, his other son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) did, and had to have a cornea transplant as a baby. That is something that the baby should be tested for as soon as he or she is born, and that would be hard to hide from Adam. Nick and Sally both wish they didn’t have to tell him, because now Adam will be a constant presence.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Overreaction Much?

They were afraid Adam would overreact, and that’s exactly what he does; Nick is firm that he won’t come between him and Sally. Sally tells Nick and Adam she never wanted to come between brothers. But it is what it is, and Y&R spoilers show that Adam takes full advantage to try and win Sally back, proposing marriage and trying to convince her he loves her more than Nick.

Sally, whose parents abandoned her and her sister Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck) as children, never thought of terminating her pregnancy as an option. However, thinking back, it certainly would have eliminated a lot of problems-but Sally could never bring herself to eliminate her child.
