The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was angry with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

But then the Newman brothers found common ground when Adam referenced what their father did to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is involved in serious thought. He is positioning various human pieces on a chess board in his mind to have his children get along.

One way, possibly the best way, to unite Nick and Adam is to make himself into the common enemy in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Sally initially loved Adam. Viewers and Grossman’s character suspect that she still does. She may be the man she eventually ends up with but that is much farther down the daytime road.

For now, Sally is falling in love with Nick. She views his personality as a calming influence. Whether she acknowledges it directly or not, Nick is the anti-Adam alternative.

Adam continues to be affected by the loss of the daughter, Ava Hope, he was going to have with Sally.

She is dealing with the miscarriage and is making progress by reconnecting with Adam, purely on a friends-only, if possible, basis,

Y&R Spoilers – Newman Brothers Share Common Experience

Nick has vastly greater experience dealing with the Moustache than Adam. While Nick has had his differences with Victor, the current level of his exasperation is nowhere near where Adam’s is.

Adam made a good point to Nick when insisting that merging SNA Media with Newman Media made good business sense. Victor claims to be focused on merging McCall Unlimited with Kristen Incorporated.

The Moustache told his sons that the merger would happen within one week. That accelerated time frame implied that Victor wanted rapid action because he had additional chess moves in mind.

Whether Victor’s plan to make Adam and Nick get along works remains to be seen. But his sons do not doubt that their father is manipulating them.

Victor’s cold rescinding of Sally’s job offer is somehow tied into the developing plans. He appears to have reneged as a means of forcing Adam and Nick to join forces.

Everything Victor is doing has a linked business and personal purpose. Using soapy history as a guide, Braeden’s character is likely to create the outcome he wants with all involved characters reacting with great emotion on Y&R.
