The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has a pattern of blowing up when his father offers advice. Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) latest irk is Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) let his dad in on the paternity reveal. Victor was apparently distracted, and his informants, who are everywhere in this Wisconsin city, did not tell him.

Victor is even more certain that Nick should not be with Sally, telling his firstborn son that he looks ridiculous staying with the woman who is having his brother’s baby.

Nick has not been causing any problems at Newman Enterprises. His return happened organically, with no specific prompting from his father.

Morrow’s character believed he matured and could offer something to the family business that was not possible in the past. Nick felt it was right to support his oldest sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who Victor gave the top chair to at Newman Enterprises.

Victoria has her own looming issue as she intends to have a relationship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). So, it should be interesting to see how Victor responds when learning that news, assuming he does not already have a beat on it.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Is Cautiously Optimistic

Adam has a baby on the way with the woman he loves. He is practicing unusual patience and restraint in deference to Sally and their expectant child.

Grossman’s character appears to believe Sally’s feelings for him will shift either as the birth date approaches or after their child is born. He is trying to be respectful of Nick, knowing that Sally may stick with Nick indefinitely.

Professionally, Adam may soon gain a primo job courtesy of his father. Victor reached a verbal agreement with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to purchase McCall Unlimited, intending for Adam to head it.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman’s Reaction Reflects His Fears

Nick’s emotional reaction to Victor chiding about being with Sally was understandable. His father basically said he was a fool to be in a relationship with Hope’s character.

However, Nick knows that the baby Sally and Adam are having represents a potential pathway. Adam will be part of Sally’s life forever because of the baby.

Being a father himself, Nick knows that unique bond gives Adam a permanent opening to be in regular contact with Sally. That could lead to a reconciliation at any time on Y&R.
