Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) makes a surprise announcement, which is life changing. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) finds someone to cover for her. The Young And The Restless Spoilers  – Phyllis Summers’ Death Hoax

Y&R spoilers for the week of May 8 reveal that Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Grazaidei) will struggle with keeping Phyllis’ secret. Daniel is furious that Phyllis worked with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) to “expose” a rival. Now Jeremy is dead, and Phyllis is guilty of the crime.

In addition to all of that, Daniel can’t believe his mother was going to let him continue thinking that she was dead. Then, there is Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), who is facing prison for a murder that never really happened.

Daniel will tell Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) that he wants to tell the truth. However, Summer reacts with rage. This puts Daniel in a tough position. Does he expose the truth and lose his family forever? Or does he keep Phyllis’ secret even though an innocent woman will go to prison? Can Daniel really live with that kind of guilt?

Y&R Spoilers – Diane Jenkins’ Battle

At some point, Diane gets a little victory. It is teased that Michael will celebrate a win while defending Diane. So, maybe Daniel tells the truth about Phyllis’ fake death. Of course, it’s always possible that a big clue will help exonerate Diane.

Before Diane is exonerated, she will face an uphill legal battle. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will continue going overboard to protect Diane. Meanwhile, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) tries to push Diane into fleeing Genoa City for good. Plus, Jack and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will get into another fight.
