Y&R Spoilers: Michael Clears Phyllis’s Name, Asks Diane To Testify About Stark’s Evil Streak?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Michael Baldwin (Christian Leblanc) has his work cut out for him. He agreed to represent Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford and help clear her name.

Michael worries that Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) could pin Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) murder on Phyllis. He believes his friend Stark was a bad guy and likely attacked Phyllis. But to prove it, that’s a whole other story.
Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman) begged Michael to help Phyllis come home. She acknowledges that Phyllis was not thinking straight when she faked her death, but she knows her friend wouldn’t kill Stark in cold blood.

Michael tells Phyllis it will take some “magic” to make her charges disappear. He isn’t sure it’s possible. He will try because he enjoys a challenge and cares deeply for her. Phyllis expresses gratitude to Michael for helping her.

Clearing Phyllis’s name will be extremely difficult. Christine seems hellbent on making Phyllis pay for everything she’s ever done to her. Phyllis knows Christine likely wants revenge and could use Stark’s murder to punish her. Michael promises to be in her corner. All he needs is for her to turn herself into the police.

Y&R Spoilers – Michael Baldwin Has A Plan, And It Involves Diane Jenkins

Michael comes up with a brilliant plan. He wonders if he can convince Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to testify about Jeremy’s mean streak. He thinks he can get Diane to speak about her experience with Stark. He thinks Diane’s story could prove Jeremy was dangerous and likely attacked Phyllis.

It might be challenging to convince Diane to help Phyllis. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Phyllis framed Diane for murder. Sure, Jeremy helped frame Diane, but she could still be angry about sitting in jail before they discovered Phyllis was alive.

Michael worries that Phyllis’s freedom hinges on Diane. Unless she testifies for her, Phyllis’s options are minimal. She could spend years in prison without Diane’s help.
