Y&R Spoilers: Michael Baldwin Sidelined Just Like Doug Davidson

The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates reveal no sign of Christian LeBlanc bringing Michael Baldwin back any time soon.  Over the years Michael Baldwin’s storylines on the CBS soap have become few and far between.  Is Y&R giving him the Paul Davidson treatment?

Doug Davidson was bumped to recurring status after 40 years on  the show in 2018.  In 2020 fans saw Davidson’s character in Genoa City for the last time.  Since then Davidson publicly begged for some screen time on social media to no avail.  Last month he gave up and cleaned out his dressing room and announced he was done at the soap opera.

A popular theory among The Young and the Restless fans is that TPTB couldn’t afford to keep up with Davidson’s pay demands since he had been on the show for so long.

So, the soap basically sidelined him and didn’t give him any screen time until he quit himself.  Is that what they are doing to Christian LeBlanc too?

Christian LeBlanc has not been around as long as Doug Davidson, but has appeared on the soap for over thirty years.  So, CBS is probably paying him a hefty fee every time he pops up in Genoa City.

Y&R Spoilers – Is Michael Baldwin Leaving The Soap?

Michael Baldwin usually pops up on The Young and the Restless when a resident of Genoa City needs his legal assistance.  But, those scenes seem to be growing farther and farther apart.  Fans are convinced that the next time we see Baldwin it could be the last.

Ironically, Michael’s wife Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) seems to be getting the same treatment.

Is it only a matter of time before the couple travels to Europe and forgets to come home?
