The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson Receives Shocking News

During the week of August 14-17 Chelsea will receive some shocking news, and it could be a family medical crisis that takes her out of town. Melissa already had her baby, so the time would be about right for the character to exit temporarily. So, who could have this medical crisis that would send Chelsea out of town-it’s possible Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) might have some problems.

Connor hasn’t been seen in a while, but he’s not quite been himself lately-he had trouble adjusting to the possibility of a little sister. But now he has to adjust to learning his little sister died before being born, and that would be difficult-perhaps Chelsea takes him to see his grandma Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach).

Y & R Spoilers – Maybe Anita Lawson Needs Help

On the other hand, a couple years back Anita broke her hip and Chelsea took Connor to go stay with grandma and help out for a while during her recovery. Maybe she’s developed some kind of medical issue or had another fall, and so Chelsea takes Connor and goes to help out again- hip fractures take a while to recover from. It’s not super-great timing considering Chelsea just started a new job at Marchetti, but Summer Abbott-Newman (Allison Lanier) would probably let her work remotely during Anita’s recovery. It’s not super-great timing for Connor either, with school just getting ready to start-it could add some extra spice and drama if Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) had to take him.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Could It Be Her Job That Takes Her Out Of Town?

It could also be her job that takes Chelsea out of town, although that kind of news doesn’t really sound all that shocking-even if it were a buying trip to Italy. It definitely sounds like some bad news that takes her out of town, and that could point to something more serious happening to Anita. Perhaps Anita has to have an operation to manage a more serious, or possibly even terminal health condition and Chelsea would certainly want to spend time with her mother.

Whatever the shocking news is, it will take Chelsea away from Genoa City for probably at least a couple of months. Hopefully, it won’t send her into a mental health nosedive like it did when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) pulled her off the ledge.
