The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 23, 2023, reveal Mariah and Tessa realizing there might be something wrong with their baby.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Hearing Problems For Aria?

Everything seems to have been going perfectly for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) since they adopted their baby girl.

She seems healthy and happy and life is good. Until it isn’t. When a loud clap of thunder fails to wake the baby, the new mothers find it odd but shrug it off.

However, when she doesn’t seem to hear more thunder while awake they start to worry about her hearing.

Sharon Collins (Sharon Case) tries to alleviate their fears by saying some babies are just sound sleepers but when she sees Aria doesn’t respond to her name, she suggests that Mariah and Tessa get the baby’s hearing tested. Could she really be deaf?

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott And Summer Newman Face The Music

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) seems to be having second thoughts about his affair with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and the breakup from his wife Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier). Summer is not sure what to think and really just wants to move on.

Of course, like Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) over in Los Angeles, she has a parent who wants her to be with a cheater. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) encourages Summer to give her marriage another try because he always believed she and Kyle were a solid couple.

Clearly, he glossed over quite a few years of his daughter’s life. Does he remember when Kyle divorced Summer just so he could marry Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle)?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Has His Own Problems

Maybe Nick should stay out of his daughter’s business until he gets his own love life in order. He is still trying to compete with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) affection and does not even know where he really stands with her.

To that end, he tries to find out on Wednesday. Nick and Sally sit down to discuss their future and have to decide if they even really have one.
