Y&R Spoilers: Lily Needs To Step Back – Billy Reaches Crossroads

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) accepted Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) offer to meet. The highly frequented Glam Club served as a repeat setting.

Viewers recall that Lily and Billy were in the club the night Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) darted out of the room. Billy was keenly observant and soon caught her on the rooftop of the Grand Phoenix hotel.

That location, which is owned by Chancellor-Winters, includes the elevated location Billy introduced Chelsea to in the recent past. He used it as a stress reliever. She intended it for something far different.

Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) popular meeting place is located on the top floor of the GP. He wanted to open his club on Newman Towers’ top floor. But Noah’s grandfather, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) nixed the idea.

So, Noah took a different route. The infamous GP was once owned by a trio of people, including Chelsea, who had money through her marriage to the late Calvin Boudreau (John Burke), Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) co-owned the hotel at one point in the plot.

Many wild events have occurred at the Phoenix, starting with a revenge spiking of public drinks during its opening. Lily dismissed the cursed reputation, seeing the building Phyllis eventually became the sole proprietor of as a good investment and buying it from her.

Y&R Spoilers – Lily Winters Has An Eye For Business

Lily was far more supportive of Billy than Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was during the last days of his relationship with Heinle’s character. However, Victoria carried Billy’s weight for years and can not be honestly chided for her outlook on him.

Khalil’s character learned about business from both of her parents. Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) demonstrated remarkable progress during her short tenure on earth, teaching Lily how to succeed in life.

Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) also left the world far too soon. His accomplishments in GC were historic. A family business he founded, the Hamilton-Winters Group, raised Lily’s business acuity.

So, does a mature Lily want to be with Billy long-term?

Billy is not lying to Lily. He is also not exaggerating when saying he wants to fight for her.

Lily believes that Billy’s compulsion to remain part of Chelsea’s recovery effort is about more than compassion. She thinks his unsettled nature reflects an unwillingness to deepen their connection on Y&R.
