Heather has found someone else with whom she wants to spend her life, so Daniel will have to look elsewhere.

Nevertheless, he is at the perfect spot. Despite having recently terminated their relationship between Lily and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Lily and Daniel have a history together. They should still be drawn to one another, and Lily should be looking for an opportunity to make their feelings into reality.
