The Young and The Restless spoilers suggest that Lauren was caught up in a rivalry for decades with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Lauren and Sheila fought over men time and again. Lauren even ended up killing a woman that she thought was Sheila. Lauren knows firsthand what it is like to waste time fighting with another person.

Lauren knows that only bad things can come from this type of conflict is like this. Lauren feels that Phyllis is only making more trouble for herself and driving a wedge between herself and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that cannot be repaired. Phyllis only wants to save Jack from heartache, but he doesn’t see that.

Phyllis Summers got in over her head when she brought Jeremy to Genoa City. Phyllis has become obsessed with getting rid of Diane because she wants her away from Jack. Unfortunately, Phyllis’ plan has backfired, and Jack is closer than ever to Diane. Jack and Diane recently rekindled their romance by sleeping together.

Still, Phyllis has not seen fit to let this vendetta against Diane go. Phyllis has gotten fired from her job because of Jeremy. Phyllis is at odds with her daughter. Nothing that Phyllis has done has helped her situation at all. Lauren knows what Phyllis is doing and will try to encourage her to stop before she blows up every relationship she has left.

Lauren is honestly looking out for Phyllis because she doesn’t want her to suffer more than she already has. Lauren simply doesn’t want things to be worse for Phyllis.

Phyllis has wholly blown her chances with Jack after bringing Jeremy to town. Jack told Phyllis numerous times to back off Diane, but she refused to listen. However, if Phyllis doesn’t stop, she will never make up with her daughter, which could cost her her relationship with her grandson. Lauren tries to be the voice of reason, but she cannot force Phyllis to heed her warning. Will Phyllis finally listen?
