Y&R Spoilers: Kyle’s Shady Quid Pro Quo With Victor – Summer Fears Escalation

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) detailed his deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Summer Newman Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) concerns grew as a result.

Viewers saw Victor’s recent sit-down with Kyle at Society. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) witnessed that event and smelled two rats. He knew that meeting likely meant his father and the head of Marchetti were conspiring against him.

Adam has a paranoid personality. While not always right, his suspicions are correct in this soapy instance. Victor wants Adam out of Jabot, and Kyle is accepting a bribe to do it.

Kyle told Victor that he considered his offer and was ready to help the Moustache maneuver Adam out of Jabot. Victor wants his youngest son back in the fold at Newman Enterprises and is willing to cheat and lie to make that happen.

Victor wondered aloud why Kyle did not get back to him about this proposal. Viewers know Mealor’s character has been knee-deep in his mother’s latest scheme, with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) framed for the theft of Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) million-dollar-plus necklace.

Speaking of orchestrated theft, Kyle told Victor he wants needed textile assets in return for setting Adam up at Jabot. Victor agreed to the shady quid pro quo.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Will Not Go Down Lightly

Adam left Newman after his father pulled the family rug out from under him again. Victor sold Newman Media, the burgeoning stand-alone company they founded and were building, to the family business.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) became Adam’s unwanted boss, which he did not tolerate. So, Adam tied his departure to a hope that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) would remain Newman Media’s lasting Chief Executive Officer. She lasted a matter of weeks before Victoria allowed Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to tell Sally her services were no longer needed.

Grossman’s character, already leery of his father’s games, will instantly recognize whatever frame Kyle builds. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) seems likely to be suspicious of any betrayal or bad misstep Adam will appear to make.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman Abbott Wants Husband Out Of Shady Business

Summer was willing to tolerate Kyle’s defense of his mother after Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) initially returned from the dead and moved back to Genoa City, Wisconsin. However, too much drama happened in recent months, with the Jeremy scheme crossing the tolerance line.

Now that Summer knows Kyle has accepted Victor’s setup scheme, she will not stand idly by. Kyle may not realize it, but he jeopardizes his marriage by defying his wife’s wise advice about Diane and Victor.

One of Y&R’s newer married couples is already enduring strife. If Kyle does not reconsider his actions, he could soon face a separation or worse on Y&R.
