The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Kyle could still be in love with Lola. He blamed Summer for blackmailing him into marrying her.

The reason why he’s so into Audra is because she reminds him of Lola. She’s just a wilder version. They have to keep their affair secret so that Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) doesn’t find out.

When Kyle first married Summer, he ended up in an affair with Lola. She became the other woman and slept with him even though he was married.

One fan came up with a possible reason for this storyline. It’s possible that Kyle is still not over Lola.

The user Fanlady wrote on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “A good story would be if Kyle is not really over Lola. I think Audra reminds Kyle a little bit of Lola, IMO Lola was really Kyle’s first true love.”

The original poster argued that Kyle showed that he was always in love with Lola. He kept returning to her. She was his first true love. Since their breakup was so sudden, Kyle is trying to rehash those feelings with Audra.

The Young and the Restless fans don’t think it has anything to do with Lola. One fan noted: “It could be he’s still in love with Summer but I think it’s something deeper, like he didn’t truly deal or resolve his feelings for Lola.”

The moment that her name pops up they’re scared that it means she’s going to return to the show. A second user wrote: “I would not at all be interested in ever having Lola return. I don’t see any similarity between Audra and Lola.”

This has brought up an important question. Does Kyle still love Lola? Most fans believe that Kyle’s only using Audra to bandage up his feelings for Summer. He’s been good at making it look like he’s moved on from their marriage.

“Audra is just a pretty bandage for what his issue is. I’d say his issue is abandonment,” one fan noted. “I do think Kyle isn’t dealing with his feelings for Summer…it’s fresh and it was a deep love they shared, but I really don’t believe Kyle ever even thinks about Lola these days…” another argued.

Some Y&R fans noted that Lola and Kyle were incompatible because of their lifestyles. He could also be incompatible with Audra since she sees him as a rich kid at times.
