The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) left his wife in a rush and glommed onto the first woman who made eyes at him.

That description might be harsh and is only challenged by the most ardent anti-Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) supporters.

Why did Kyle feel so compelled to separate from the woman who embraced his son, Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez)? It made no sense inside a storyline that is arguably questionable.

Meanwhile, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has no regrets about coupling with Summer’s husband.

Kyle appears not to realize that Audra is taking advantage of his mind frazzle, which projects to his use being of the limited-run variety.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers’ Mind Was Fragile

Summer thought her mother was dead. Then Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) revealed herself as having faked death.

Who does that? Well, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). She is Kyle’s mother, who allowed him to believe she was killed in self-defense by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) when he was just a boy.

Diane’s reveal as alive was followed by Kyle choosing to accept her explanation about mental health issues.

Yet, Kyle can not admit that Phyllis’ state of mind was broken when she chose to align with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in a misguided revenge plot against Diane.

YR Spoilers – Audra Charles Needs Powerful Allies

Audra has not yet achieved independent power. So, her way of earning it is to attach herself to those who have plenty of money, like Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

Kyle has not achieved the level of financial flexibility that Tucker has. But Mealor’s character is well-heeled and has access to a lot of capital.

Silver’s character is open about her desire to have an influential position and live a comfortable life. She is willing to do whatever is necessary to make that happen.
