Y&R Spoilers: Kyle Ignores Warning Signs – Audra Efforts Are Transactional?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has allowed himself to become blind to reality.

Rather than seeing Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) as a human being, he held her to an impossible standard.

Kyle’s selfish behavior was seized upon by an opportunist who has lived what appears to be a mostly transactional life since Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) broke from her.

The miscarriage she had also had an untold, profound effect.

Kyle, more than most, should have been able to realize that his wife was protecting her mother.

Instead, he chose to conclude that her actions in protecting Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) secret, of being alive, were unforgivable.

To say that he could not trust her after all they have been through across the years is hard-headed to the maximum degree.

But add to that Summer’s open-hearted acceptance of his child, Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).

Summer became Harrison’s mother after his mother, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), went to jail.

The bond Summer and Harrison have is one Kyle should have honored rather than dismissed in importance.

Y&R Spoilers – Breaking Family And Business Ties

Action purely on reckless impulses, Kyle created a quick relationship with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), whom he barely knew.

Throwing Summer off for Audra was compounded by the lunkhead business move he made.

Kyle did not have to leave Jabot but did so because he could not stand to be around Summer.

While Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) felt his resignation could be helpful, allowing Summer to maintain her position during a time of strife, Kyle created that scenario because of his actions.

Going to work for Newman Media only happened because of his feelings for Audra. It is never wise to allow emotion to overwhelm career considerations, especially when the business one leaves is a family legacy company.

In answer to the subject header, she might be. Audra was projected as a far different person when she arrived in GC than she is today.

Time likely has allowed some healing to occur. Noah left GC and moved back to Europe, with his girlfriend, Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), following.

Out of soapy sight and mind, Audra swung and missed on Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), at least to date, and decided that Kyle was a worthwhile pursuit.

But viewers notice that Audra’s demeanor changes when Mealor’s character is in a scene with her.

So, it is possible that Kyle does not represent Audra’s most recent transaction but a new love on Y&R.
