Y&R Spoilers: Jeremy Plot Backfires, Diane Arrested

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) plot might backfire. She is trying to convince him she’s for real with wanting him back by staging a theft from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) but she might be arrested.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers –  Trying To Con A Con

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) told Diane she’d be playing with fire trying to con a con, even though they had tried to con Jeremy together but he didn’t fall for it. Diane insisted to Jack that she had to come up with something shadier to convince him she can be trusted-she decides to steal something.  Moreover, she decides to steal it from Nikki, but that’s a gamble in itself with all the Newman security she’d have to evade!

A stunt like that is almost certain to backfire, especially since Nikki hates Diane to begin with, so she’s likely to be caught and arrested. Not to mention there’s been trouble in paradise between Kyle and Summer Newman-Abbott (Michael Mealor, Allison Lanier) over Diane’s stunts.

Y & R Spoilers – Summer Newman-Abbott Is Fed Up

Summer’s fed up with all the drama between Diane and everyone else, and even told Kyle she wants to get away from the Jeremy danger and take Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). She’s likely to push her grandma Nikki to press charges if Diane does manage to pilfer anything significant from her, although Jack might talk Nikki back out of it. After all, Harrison won’t want to have to visit his grandma Didi in jail, he’s had enough sadness already for such a little guy, losing his birth mom. Summer just wants all the conflict to be over, having even had to fire her own mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) because of her vitriol towards Diane.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Police Involvement

At some point, police involvement will happen in this mess, with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) plopped right in the middle of it. Diane, Jack, and all the rest on this never ending merry go round will have a lot of explaining to do, and Chance won’t appreciate their amateur hour detective work. Stark is a dangerous criminal with a long criminal record, and not the kind of man you want to mess around with.

Chance may have even dealt with Stark previously in his work with the FBI and the Pentagon, and may not like dealing with him again. He’s just getting his chops back after his bad experience overseas, with the betrayal by his wife on top of that.
