The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Puts Business First

Now that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) realizes that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is dead serious about divorcing Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier), he doesn’t think they should be working together anymore. However, it’s Kyle whom he would like to see become unemployed. After all, Summer was at Marchetti first and she deserves to keep it. Plus, them both working there would be weird and awkward for the employees.

Kyle has to agree and says he will step down, but he thinks he can just get his old job back at Jabot. Nope. Jack says that is not possible because Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has that job now. So, Kyle seems to be truly out of luck. Will he self-destruct some more?

Poor Summer also has to face her own hard realities and the consequences of her actions. She doesn’t want her marriage to end, but it might be worse than that. Never listen to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) even if Phyllis is your mother. What more can happen to Summer thanks to her mother’s careless and destructive ways?

More Trouble For Devon And Lily?

After a lot of angst last year and the start of this year, thanks to their cousin Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are finally getting along now. They have put their business strife and hard feelings behind them and even embarked on new relationships. Lily is with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) now and Devon is with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).

Now, Devon might decide to upend this whole peace when he has a proposition for Lily. Knowing Devon, this is a business proposition. Didn’t he learn from the last time around that those types of partnerships usually mean trouble? Is he ready to ruin a peace because he gets too cocky once and again and decides that he needs even more money in his life?
