Y&R Spoilers: Jack Arrested – Busted With Nikki’s Jewels?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is getting in over his head with his scheming with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). On Tuesday (January 10), Diane and Jack devised a plan to rob Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as part of Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) loyalty test.

It’s a risky plan to steal from Nikki. If Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gets wind of their plan, it will cause big problems for Jacky boy. Diane hopes this will prove to Jeremy that she’s ready to be his partner-in-crime. But Y&R viewers speculate that Jeremy could set Diane up to send her to prison.

When Diane told Jack, Jeremy asked her to prove her loyalty by committing a crime. And this crime must be risky, so it’s clear she had to plan for the heist. The last requirement was the deadline. He gave her 24 hours to do it.

Diane tossed Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) names as possible victims. However, they decided it was a bad idea. Jack said Phyllis would become a problem and suspect Diane immediately. They passed on Ashley because Diane assumed Jeremy would consider that too easy.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Jack revealed they would make their way to Nikki and Victor’s pied-à-Terre in Chicago. Jack said he knew where Nikki kept her jewels and knew the security staff. It sounds like a solid plan, and they feel confident they can pull it off.

While it’s a plus that the staff knows Jack, that doesn’t mean he can leave without being questioned or apprehended. Jack will likely end up in police custody to answer why he’s leaving the Newman vacation home with Nikki’s jewels.

This could be the plan. Jeremy could be holding on to resentment over Diane, turning him in to the feds, so he plans to pay the favor back. This time, Jack decided to do the crime himself, setting himself up to take the fall for Diane’s loyalty test.

The only thing that might save Jack from prison is his relationship with Nikki. They have a decades-long friendship, making it harder for Nikki to press charges.
