Y&R Spoilers: Jack And Diane’s Latest Scheme To Defeat Jeremy

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) have a new wrinkle in their takedown scheme. Diane has had to prove to Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) that she’s still criminal enough to partner with him, with the end game being taking him down.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – A Family Affair

Jack and Diane have made their takedown scheme rather much of a family affair, Jack having been able to secure a valuable necklace of Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott). They are going to pretend that Diane stole it, as proof of her loyalty to him, after Jack got it by slipping in and out of the Newman apartment in Chicago. Kyle and Summer Abbott (Michael Mealor, Allison Lanier) enter the living room and Summer doesn’t want to know anything except that they’re using her grandmother’s necklace.

Kyle winds up in a rather interesting position, seeing the validity of Summer putting her foot down. But he also wants to help his mother, so he’s kind of torn between his love for his mom and his love for his wife.

Y & R Spoilers – Leaving The Plan In Motion

Now that they have the “bait” of Nikki’s necklace and Diane trying her best to out-con the con, they leave their plan in motion. Diane is sure she knows Jeremy enough to fool him, but Jack is a little hesitant to have confidence in her plan. After all, look how afraid she was of him when she first saw him, and now she’s cozying up to him? It could seem a little suspicious, after all to Jeremy when she was so cold and avoidant of him when he first came to town. Diane herself talked about what a dangerous man Jeremy is and how he cannot be trusted and here she is trying to get him to trust her.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Pretends

Diane pretends to be falling back in love with Jeremy, even to the point of letting him kiss her to seal the deal, so to speak. The look on her face as she is turned away from him says it all as she has to switch gears quickly to smile and kiss him passionately. Inside, she’d rather be sucking lemons than sucking lip with Jeremy, who she now despises from the core of her being, but she knows she has to stick to the plan.

Diane isn’t sure if Jack borrowed the necklace from Nikki or stole it, because later she confronts them about it. But if it makes the theft seem more real to Jeremy, then she’s all for the momentary discomfort.
