The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Engaged Or Not Engaged?

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) planned to tell all of Genoa City society that they are engaged at the big bicentennial celebration but then chose not to upstage the dedication of the new Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) jazz lounge. The night was still going well for them until Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) lured Diane to a room under the pretense that Kyle Abbot (Michael Mealor) was sick and a catfight ensued from there.

With Jack, Kyle, and Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier) walking in on that fight, things take a turn for Jack and Diane and on Wednesday, they decide to make an announcement anyway. Are they going through with their engagement despite Diane telling Phyllis she’d like to strangle her or do they have something else to say?

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Makes A Grand Entrance

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has already let her presence be known in Genoa City when she returned to represent Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) in the lawsuit against Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). With that called off due to everyone making amends, Amanda won’t have that to contend with but she still decides to dress up and attend the masquerade gala.

That’s where she notices how close Devon and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) have become since she left town, making her realize that what she walked in on wasn’t just a one-night stand. She doesn’t even want to deal with Devon when she sees that but Devon insists that they talk anyway. How will that mess go?

Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) already spent time in Genoa City recently but now he is back for the gala and bringing a special guest with him — his sister Gina Romalotti (Patty Weaver), who hasn’t been seen in a decade. Will they stir up drama or is this just going to be a peaceful and happy celebratory visit?
