The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) wants his son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to pull himself up by his bootstraps.

He lost his wife Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and his new job with Newman Media. Somewhere along the way, Kyle also lost his sense of pride. Jack gives him some tough love.

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Jack wants Kyle to start over again. He feels that his son could use a fresh start. Kyle has had a difficult year. He’s been dealt with many blows and Jack gave him some advice.

The user taramartin posted on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Jack feels Kyle needs to start from the ground up. While I don’t disagree with Jack regarding Kyle’s attitude and experience how come he doesn’t feel the same about Summer?”

The Y&R spoilers suggest that Jack thinks Kyle deserves a second chance. He did offer his son some good advice. However, this should also be for Summer, who’s also at a crossroads in her life right now.

One fan noted: “I found it interesting that Jack came to the same conclusion about Kyle, that Victor came to about Adam. Secondly, Summer isn’t the one demanding a job and not accepting what was offered.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers seemingly suggest that Jack made the right call about his son. It wasn’t due to his lack of experience. It’s because of Kyle’s attitude and entitlement.

He feels that the company was owed to him. His character development is lacking severely lately and it shows in his storyline.

Y&R Spoilers – Will Kyle Abbott Ever Grow Up?

Some fans have to wonder if Kyle will ever grow up. He had a chance to grow when he was married to Summer and he became a father to Harrison Locke.

Some fans argue that Summer isn’t acting out like Kyle. She humbled herself to get where she is today.

“Jack is right about Kyle and seeing Kyle reach out to Audra after hearing what Jack said about him proves to me that he does feel this sense of entitlement. Kyle doesn’t deserve his job back as Co-CEO,” one fan argued.

“Because Summer was humble enough to be mentioned by her grandfather. She then worked at a lower job at Jabot. Then took a creative job at Marquetti,” another user noted.
