Y&R Spoilers: Is Mamie’s GC Return Fueled By Family Or To Get Back At Jill?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that the mystery behind who bought Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) shares in Chancellor-Winters has been revealed. As Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) struggled to figure out who this new unknown shareholder was, it became clear that Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) was behind the big purchase. But, why?

Y&R spoilers reveal that a big part of the reason Mamie’s back is to spend more time with family, a point she relayed to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) during a recent scene.

With Lily, Devon, and Nate still at odds, Johnson may believe that she can help navigate a reunion between the trio if she’s back in Genoa City; she may also believe that holding a major stake in Chancellor-Winters could help bring Hastings back to his “family” company and away from Newman Enterprises.

Y&R Spoilers – Mamie Johnson Has Not Forgotten About Jill Abbott

Then again, during the Wednesday, September 27th episode of Y&R, the soap was quick to catch fans up on the epic feud Jill and Mamie once had.

Viewers got a glimpse of this rivalry during the ladies’ encounter that took place at the town’s bicentennial gala.

However, fans who may not have watched the show back in the day got a nice review of the animosity between Ms. Abbott and Ms. Johnson.

Could Mamie be back to spend time with her family, but also become a thorn in Jill’s side, as Ms. Abbott was once to her, during her “maid” days in the mansion?

Does she have plans to oust Jill from Chancellor-Winters, altogether? It may burn Mamie up inside to know just how close Jill is with Devon and Lily, considering she’s not family with either of them. This may be the motivation for her return and to have a stake in their company.
