Y&R Spoilers: Is Diane Pulling A Massive Swerve?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that just as Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) fends off one enemy, another is popping up.

She recently (somewhat) won over Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), but now, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is skeptical.

Has Diane truly changed or is she trying to pull the ultimate revenge act in taking over Jabot?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Read The Fine Print

Y&R spoilers state that Billy’s skepticism isn’t coming out of “nowhere”. He read the fine print of the prenup that Diane presented to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) some time ago, and while the idea of signing it seemed like an act of good faith on Ms. Jenkins-Abbott’s part, it may have been a sly and underhanded move.

It makes her look like she has no ulterior motives, but there is a stipulation within the agreement where Jabot’s board of directors and memberships are concerned.

Jack didn’t want to sign it, but Diane insisted, at the time. It’s interesting that Billy noticed this fine print, as his older brother was quick to trust his new wife and sign whatever she asked him to.

Now Billy-boy is dead set against allowing Diane to further climb the ranks of the company, as a way to protect his father’s legacy; however, should he be this concerned?

Y&R Spoilers – Is Diane Jenkins-Abbott Still As Vile As Ever?

Other than using Jack’s granddaughter as a way to re-enter his life, Diane has been pretty chill since she returned to Genoa City.

Her past away from the little town was a bit shady, but she’s proven that she is ready to turn a new leaf. In fact, in many ways, Ms. Jenkins-Abbott has worked overtime to look good.

She instantly forgave Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) about “lying” to everyone that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was alive, even though Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) ended their marriage over it; this is despite all the stress she went through being accused of Red’s murder.

But is she really good or laying it on “thick”? Billy’s right to have concerns, especially if one looks at the fine details of the prenup she drafted up.

Seems like the perfect scam, not to mention a solid plot twist in this storyline, if Diane ends up turning on Jack and trying to gain control of Jabot.
