Y&R Spoilers: Is Christel Khalil Leaving CBS Soap?

The Young and the Restless spoilers show fans may be seeing a lot less of Lily Winters on the CBS soap, or there may be a new Lily showing up in coming months.  Earlier this month Christel Khalil announced that she was pregnant with baby number two.  Now, the rumor mill is churning, and word on the internet is the actress might be considering stepping away from her role.

Christel Khalil confirmed she was pregnant by showing off her baby bump on social media.  She posted a slide of photos with some of her fellow The Young and the Restless stars, and captioned it, “That’s a wrap on Monaco! Thank you, Festival TV Monte Carlo for a great trip! Loved being there with this A-Team.  Lots of laughs, blisters on our feet, and ate enough croissants to supply a bakery. See you next time!”

The Young and the Restless actress has always been pretty private about her at home life.  This will be baby number two for Christel Khalil, she has a teenage son named Michael from a previous marriage.

In 2018 Christel introduced Sam Restagno as her boyfriend, and since then the couple became engaged.  They haven’t set a wedding date yet, but the couple is probably waiting until after Christel gives birth.

Y&R Spoilers – Is Christel Khalil Leaving The Young And The Restless

Khalil hasn’t addressed the rumors about her possible exit, or revealed what her plans are for a maternity leave.  It’s possible the writers have wrote Lily’s pregnancy in to the soap so they don’t have to conceal her baby bump.  But, seeing as how she hasn’t been hitting the sheets a whole lot, that doesn’t seem likely.

Of course, there’s always the chance the soap may cast a temporary actress to take over the role of Lily while Christel is taking a maternity leave.  But, no casting notices have gone out as of yet.
