Since Ashley returned to town, paid off all Tucker’s debts, and has been pushing him to re-establish a relationship with his son, Devon Winters (Bryton James), she seems to be falling for McCall again. With that said, it also seems as if Ashley has an agenda with Tucker. At first, it did look like she had a scheme to bring him down (not that this should be entirely ruled out as this still could be the case); however, the way she looks at him, laughs at his antics, and the kisses they have shared do make it seem as if Ashley still has feelings there, but she’s holding back.
But is she holding back in fear of getting hurt again, or holding back because she doesn’t want to egg him on (that much) as she’s simply using Tucker to get back at Jack and prove a point?
Then again, it could be both. Ashley could be falling for Tucker again, taking it slow because she wants to be confident in her feelings for him, but also using her relationship with McCall to poke at Jack. There really is no difference between Diane and Tucker in terms of pasts; they’ve both done terrible things, but for some reason, Mr. Abbott feels as if Jenkins deserves redemption, but McCall doesn’t. Ashley is proving a big point with her brother and annoying him along the way. Hey, it’s what little sisters do best!
