The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that there is some sad news to share about one of the fans’ favorite actresses, Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Fisher), who has announced that she is off contract.

During an Instagram Live Elizabeth Hendrickson responded to a fan’s statement by saying that she is off contract on the CBS sudser.

The fan stated that they miss seeing Chloe onscreen and in response Hendrickson stated “Very sweet that you miss Chloe … unfortunately, I’m not on contract anymore so they only work me when they write for Chloe. I miss telling stories from Chloe’s point of view. I had a good run, though, and love that I still see my friends a few times a month.”

When it appeared that fans were confused as to her status, Elizabeth cleared it up by saying “I am still on the show! I’m just not under contract which means I work when they write for Chloe. I am not guaranteed a certain number of shows per week or per month.”

This is certainly not good news for fans of Chloe and her portrayer Hendrickson. But truth be told, Chloe had been seen less and less for the last few months and her onscreen husband Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) has been seen even less.

Maybe that’s because he’s busy portraying Leo Stark on Peacock’s Days of our Lives! Hendrickson debuted on Y&R in 2008 and was a regular until 2017 when she went to work on ABC’s General Hospital. She left GH after a year and returned to the number one rated daytime drama in 2019.

Chloe is seen these days when she and her business partner Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) talk shop, which is not very often. Sally is pregnant and busy juggling her baby daddy Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and boyfriend Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

After Sally experienced a recent scare that sent her to the hospital it could be that she decides to table business until her pregnancy is over, which would explain Chloe’s absence.
