Y&R Spoilers: Elena Contacts JT Via Video Call, But Is He Ready To Face His Past?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is more than ready to contact JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) after what she hears. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has her own agenda-Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) but she gets JT’s number and tells Elena that Nate and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are travelling together.

Audra tells Elena that Nate and Victoria are travelling together on their business trip, contrary to what Nate told her-he even wanted to go on a vacation of their own. But when Audra gives her the details of the business trip, even the hotel where they are staying, Elena decides to pay Victoria and Nate a surprise visit. She’s livid, and she finds them and interrupts a lunch they’re having-wanting to know what the two of them are up to!

When she returns, she decides JT Hellstrom is a perfect person for her podcast, especially since she knows that Victoria was terrorized by him years ago. The abusive behavior had been chalked up to a brain tumor that wasn’t discovered until after the fact, and Elena calls him to interview him about the brain tumor.

Y & R Spoilers – JT Wants To Know If Victoria Newman Approved The Interview

JT shows he has changed when he wants to know if Victoria had approved the interview, not wanting to frighten her or bring up traumatic memories. But Elena is intentionally evasive about that, and even though she’s using JT just a little bit in the process, that is what she wants to happen. She allows him to assume that Victoria was looped in about the interview, which she reaches out to him about via video call. She figures that she can judge his body language and reactions when she pre-interviews him, and the actual interview will take place there in Genoa City.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Is JT Hellstrom Ready To Face His Past?

Elena’s plot is a calculated move, and she has to be sure that it doesn’t backfire, knowing that JT’s presence in Genoa City most definitely will distract Victoria away from Nate. However, JT has a horse in this race himself and he must decide if he is ready to face his own past, having steered clear from Genoa City. He’s avoided contacting the Newmans and possibly his own son with Victoria, Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Lebeau), and has to be ready for any fallout.

JT has to consider carefully what the rest of the Newmans might think, aside from Victoria, who may not have looped them in. As for Elena, she practices the fine art of distraction away from that question.
