Y&R Spoilers: Diane’s True Colors Surface, Crosses Lines With Evil Revenge

Y&R spoilers suggest there will be plenty more shockers where the Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) “fake death” storyline is concerned. While Phyllis, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) (among others) don’t trust Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) as far as they can throw her, since her return she’s worked hard to turn a new leaf.

Red and the others don’t believe this “new woman” act; however, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have bought it, hook line, and sinker. Is Diane truly a changed woman, and if she’s not, could her true colors surface now she’s confident and comfortable in the position she has within the little town?

Y&R spoilers suggest that Diane could get exonerated in Phyllis’s “murder”, as Jack and Kyle just came up with “proof” that Ms. Summers never died the night of Genoa City’s bicentennial.

Looks like the red hair they found in the bathroom will match Summer Abbott Newman’s (Alison Lanier) DNA and this could be enough evidence to provide some doubt that Phyllis is dead.

Now, despite Diane doing the exact same thing as Phyllis many years ago, she was completely outraged at how “evil” Red was in the lengths she’s gone to bring her down.

Jenkins has been amazing at keeping her cool and not allowing her crazy to show, but now that another line has been crossed by Ms. Summers, will Diane go even further to deliver some revenge on her nemesis?

This last stunt of Phyllis’s definitely placed the nail in her coffin for any reconciliation with Jack, anytime soon. She may have also even lost a little respect from friends Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman), and others in town.

Once Diane is exonerated, she will definitely be riding a high wave. She’s comfy in her role as Jack’s better half, and she knows her son will take her side no matter what.

In fact, she may get quite comfortable; comfortable enough to slip up and show her true colors. This may mean dividing up the Abbott siblings, breaking up Skyle (as an act of revenge against Phyllis), and turning little Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) against Summer.

She no longer has anything to “prove” as no matter what she does moving forward, Jack and Kyle will believe her. She no longer has to play nice with anyone she doesn’t like.
